Hope is being restored in Haiti through the hands and hearts of many. HCBCDS is partnering directly with Mission of Hope Haiti (www.mohhaiti.org) to place logistical and medical teams on the ground. MOHH has distributed over 2 million meals in the name of Christ and operated several mobile medical units and hospital units throughout Port au Prince. We invite you to participate in several tangible ways:

“On Call” Volunteer List. Mission of Hope Haiti will have long term needs to help rebuild lives. Over the next few months, we may need medical personnel, construction specialists, skilled laborers, logistics and distribution specialists and willing servants. If you would like to be on call to volunteer locally or globally, please email the following to go@hcbc.com.

Pray. Below are 4 suggestions for prayer:

• Pray for the overwhelming physical and emotional pain that people are suffering through and that God would actively comfort them through his Spirit, Church, and the movement of relief and workers.
• Pray for the church of Haiti as they minister in their grief that they would find unfathomable strength in Christ.
• Pray for the teams from Hill Country and other churches that are volunteering here and to go to Haiti that they would clearly express the love of Christ in tangible ways.
• Pray as millions of tough spiritual conversations are taking place globally due to this “act of God”. That the world would see the response and reality of Christ through his body giving and acting in love.
