Contrary to “lone ranger” faith, Christianity is meant to be lived in relationship with others. Among Christians, we are encouraged and challenged to live more like Jesus. And among non-Christians, because of our love, we are to give people an encounter with Jesus himself. Though we’ll likely never get it perfect, with the help of a church family, a group of friends, and a mentor, we can “run with perseverance the race marked out for us…” (Hebrews 12:1)
