Many children who eat free breakfast and lunch at school will not eat adequate meals once school dismisses for summer. SOFI is a summer food assistance program that delivers healthy breakfast and lunch foods to participating families every week for the entire summer.

Why deliver? Many families do not have transportation.  Others work during local food pantry food distribution hours. Additionally, many families in crisis are not food pantry clients.  Those in need sign up anonymously and food is delivered directly to their door. SOFI wishes to fill the gaps of existing services so no child is left hungry.

SOFI is committed to providing quality food that nourishes the children: whole grains, low fat, low in sugar, and little or no additives or preservatives.

Relationships are at the heart of our mission. Delivery drivers befriend each and every family, treating them as image bearers of God. Through these relationships, we offer friendship, community, and hope.

Throughout the summer, various needs of our families are made known to us such as clothing, household needs, school supplies, baby items, etc.  If you would like to be added to an email list to help provide these needs, please email below or join the Facebook Group.
