Lead Pastor/Elder
Jason is originally from the Austin area. He graduated from the University of Texas with a BBA and commissioned into the United States Air Force as a pilot.
After serving over 10 years, God began to move Jason to full time ministry. He served both active duty and as a biovocational pastor. Jason and his family moved to Dripping Springs in 2008 to start Hill Country Bible Church.
Jason is happily married to Mandi and they have three boys: Cole, Alex, and Andrew .

Jay Owen
Associate Pastor/Elder
Jay shepherds our missions and outreach ministry. His vision is to equip and encourage people with a heart for missions.
He became a follower of Jesus as a young adult while attending a Bible-centered church outside Boston, MA. Especially meaningful was a study he did with two other men titled “Examining the Claims of Jesus”.
Jay and his wife, Mary, have been married over forty years. Before moving to Austin, they lived outside Boston for nearly thirty years where they raised their family. They have three grown sons with families of their own. Jay enjoys spending time outdoors and with family and friends. He also enjoys general aviation flying.

Mark Cox
Elder
Mark is passionate about sharing the deep riches of scripture and the beauty of God’s word. With a heart for theology, he strives to encourage others to explore and enjoy the truths found in scripture.
Mark is joyfully married to his wife, Brandi, and is the proud father of their two children, Bennett and Tessa. A West Point graduate with an MBA from UNC Chapel Hill, Mark served in the Army for 12 years, transferring to Texas in 2014 and eventually settling in Dripping Springs in 2020.
Mark also loves cycling, hiking hill country trails, playing with his kids, and diving into a good theological discussion. An economics enthusiast and apologetics buff, he’s always ready for a meaningful conversation—or a friendly debate!

Bernie Hajovsky
Elder
Bernie has lived and worked in the Austin area since 2000. He graduated from UT-Austin and worked in the private sector for a brief time before moving to state government in 2005. Bernie began his walk with Christ in his late teens and has been involved in a variety of church ministries and charitable organizations over the years. Bernie serves as a mentor at The Burke Center for Youth and volunteers with kids' ministry and coaching youth sports.
Bernie and his wife, Jordan, married in 2012 and live in Dripping Springs with their four children.

Jim Spigelmire
Elder
Besides serving as an Elder, Jim is a Real Life Group Leader and a musician on the Worship Team.
Jim came to faith while in college when he began to really consider what it meant to focus on God first. Following King Jesus since then, he is challenged daily to continue to learn and grow.
Jim and his wife, Linda, have been married for over 25 years. They have two adult children and grandchildren. He enjoys RV’ing and traveling with family and friends. He enjoys time with family, especially his grandchildren. He is also an amateur astronomer and astrophotographer.

Chris Jones
Associate Pastor
Chris’s role at Hill Country involves our discipleship and counseling ministry, assimilation, and students. He has a heartfelt enthusiasm for helping others grow in their faith through God’s word and how to live it out. Originally from North Georgia, Chris has lived across the southern United States most of his life but has called the Dripping Springs area home for the past eight years.
He is happily married to his wife Mackenzie since 2014, and a proud father of four daughters: Caitlin, Riley, Ruby, and Dorothy. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Christian Counseling and is pursuing his Master of Divinity in Discipleship Studies from Liberty University.
In addition to his ministry work, Chris enjoys playing music, cooking, and woodworking. He has a blue-collar background, working in government contracting, mining, construction, and custom woodworking industries. However, his greatest joy comes from serving his family and the Church and advancing the kingdom.

Steve Isgitt
Associate Pastor
Steve is originally from Houston. After graduating from Texas Tech University he worked in the retail automobile business for 25 years, then owned and operated an auto repair business for the next 13 years. This business was sold in 2011 and he moved home full time to Wimberley.
Originally a bible major in college, he has always had a love for the church, and has served as an elder and lay minister for many years.
He is very grateful to have this opportunity to serve God and Hill Country Bible Church in Dripping Springs.
Steve is married to Bren, and has two children and four grandchildren.

Brandi Cox
Children's Ministry
Brandi is a native Texan, born and raised near Waco. She graduated from University of Texas at Arlington with a Masters degree in nursing, and works as a nurse practitioner in the local area.
Mission work has always been a particular passion of Brandi's. She has spent several years serving in children's camping ministries as well as medical missions. She is married to Mark Cox and together they have two children, Bennett and Tessa. They have been in Dripping Springs since 2020 and love exploring the Hill Country.

Jordan Hajovsky
Executive Admin
Jordan grew up in Arizona in a Christian home, attending church regularly and was baptized as a teenager. She moved to California to attend San Diego State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. After working at UPS for 8 years, she decided it was time for a change and randomly chose Austin, TX as home. Jordan worked as the Director of Operations Support for the state retirement system for 9 years before deciding to become a stay at home mom. It was while working at ERS that she met and married her husband Bernie. After starting their family, they moved to Dripping Springs in 2015.
Jordan's greatest joy and biggest blessing is raising their four children, Harris, Schafer, Camden, and Nolan, to know and love Christ.
